 What kind of high temperature resistant gasket can be considered as a sealing ring for autoclave?

First of all, as a large pressure vessel, autoclave is not only huge in volume, but also has its own quality. In terms of application, in addition to the preparation of building materials industry, it can also be used in metal smelting and glass steam curing, etc., which involves more products in practical application. In order to ensure the normal operation of the autoclave in the process of use, after the materials are filled in, the corresponding high temperature resistant gasket should be installed at both ends of the kettle door to ensure that the kettle door can be closed and form a sealing state inside.

When choosing the applicable high temperature resistant gasket, the first problem to be considered should be matching. As a large-scale equipment, the size of the kettle door position is basically measured in meters, so the high temperature resistant gasket often needs to select a larger gasket ring to meet the installation requirements, and often needs to communicate with the manufacturer and make a special customization.

Secondly, the weight of the kettle door should also be considered. As a large facility, the weight of the kettle door alone is not what the ordinary high-temperature gasket can bear. Especially for the same hardness of metal high-temperature gasket, remember not to use. There are two reasons. One is that the metal gasket is easy to be damaged under pressure. For this kind of frequently opened and closed kettle door, its service life is short. Second, the metal gasket has no resilience, because of its strong hardness, it is not "flexible", and large cracks will appear after deformation, which can not achieve the purpose of sealing.

At present, the high temperature resistant gasket of autoclave is mostly rubber series gasket. Compared with metal gasket, although it can not bear such high temperature, but because the temperature of autoclave is not too high, it is completely within its bearing range. As a rubber, it has good resilience and plasticity. Although the weight of the kettle door is very large, it can only be deformed and can not be damaged. It also protects the contact surface of the kettle door and ensures the sealing of the whole internal space.
