If you want to keep the heat, you must add passive measures, so that the heat generated is not easy to transfer out or in a very short time, which requires heat preservation.

At present, there is no special design for thermal insulation measures of fire engines, mainly aluminum alloy rolling shutters and blocking the places where leakage occurs. These measures have a certain effect, but still far from reaching the effect of heat preservation for the pump room of fire truck. There are three main ways of heat transfer: heat conduction, heat convection and heat radiation. In order to keep warm, we must take corresponding measures for the three ways of heat transfer. The special properties of the fire truck determine that the thermal insulation material must be non combustible material, and also must adapt to extremely low temperature and high temperature.
